Saudi Arabia’s renowned Albaik Food System Company has officially decided to expand into Pakistan and will use locally sourced chicken for its products.

During a press briefing after the ‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition in Jeddah, Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan confirmed that Albaik has begun its process to enter the Pakistani market. He stated, “Albaik will first establish its food chain before officially launching in Pakistan.”

When asked about the launch timeline and the number of branches, the minister emphasized that the process is extensive. “Albaik isn’t just opening a franchise overnight. They are carefully setting up their supply chain, including poultry farming, feed production, and franchise development, ensuring their high-quality hygiene standards,” he explained.

According to Jam Kamal Khan, Albaik representatives disclosed their plan to open 200 outlets in Pakistan. He added, “I told them they don’t even need marketing. Every Pakistani already knows about Albaik!”

Beyond its food chain, Albaik is also set to boost Pakistan’s poultry, bread, and service industries, creating employment opportunities and business growth in multiple sectors.

In a lighter moment, Jam Kamal Khan revealed that Albaik invited him into their kitchen, where he even tried making a burger himself. “I am thrilled about Albaik coming to Pakistan and pray for their success,” he remarked.
